What is a Plug-and-Play?

A Plug-and-Play is an advanced piece of automotive technology that enhances your vehicle’s performance by intercepting and modifying key signals without leaving a trace. It’s a device designed to adjust various engine settings like boost, fueling, power, and torque (measured in newton-metres).

How Does It Work?

The process starts by bringing your vehicle onto a dynamometer, a tool that measures your car’s current performance. We record baseline settings for boost pressure, fuel delivery, and power output. Once we have these readings, we install the Dastek Power Plug-and-Play system. This device enables us to tweak these settings to maximise efficiency, reliability, and—of course—performance.

After making these adjustments, we re-run your vehicle on the dynamometer to assess the changes and provide you with a detailed performance report.

Why Choose Plug-and-Play?

One of the standout features of a plug-and-play system is its ease of use and non-invasive nature. It simply plugs into your vehicle’s system and can just as easily be removed, leaving no electronic trace behind. This is especially beneficial if your dealership is strict about maintaining the vehicle’s warranty, as the system won’t alter any permanent settings or void warranties.

The beauty of plug-and-play lies in its ability to significantly improve your driving experience without the complexities or concerns of a permanent modification.
